About Us . . .

William Parker is schooled and experienced as an architect and interior designer, a rare combination of disciplines which enables a greater depth of vision through all stages of interior design. His background as an architect makes him particularly adept with the technical and practical sides of window treatment design, fabrication and installation. His sense of design and style ensure that the final product is in fact a piece of art.

William is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin who gained much of his architectural and design experience in New York City. His background is a wide range of project types in both residential and commercial arenas. A valuable phase of his early career was in the office of Robert A.M. Stern, Architect with a primary focus on residential home design. He also worked for an extended period with the international architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata, and Kassabaum. A long association with Robert Liebreich, Architect in New York involved interior projects for clients such as Wells, Rich, Greene ad agency, IMG, and Siemens as well as numerous apartments and country houses. Prior to his return to Austin in 1990, William spent a year in Paris, France working on a hotel project adjacent to EuroDisneyland.

William has managed quality workrooms in Austin for more than a decade, producing soft components for a variety of projects including residences and commercial projects.

He is supported by an experienced team of skilled artisans including draftsmen, illustrators, designers, seamstresses, installers, contractors, and technology consultants that he has assembled over the years.
